Linux Foundation released an updated version of this exam. If you'd like to prepare for the newest version of the exam, please watch our Linux Engineer LPIC-2 - 201-400 - 202-400 course.

In this intermediate Linux systems administration training, Shawn Powers covers the knowledge necessary for advanced Linux systems administrators. This course covers topics like startup and maintenance, advanced configuration of fundamental network services and management of block storage and file systems.

Despite this training mapping to the objectives for previous versions of the LPIC-2 certification — 201-400 and 202-400 — the material remains extremely valuable to Linux systems administrators and can still help you prepare for much of the 201-450 and 202-450. After completing this intermediate Linux training, you'll have the ability to administer small to medium-sized networks using the popular open-source platform, Linux, and show you’re ready to step into systems administrator and engineer roles.

For IT managers, this training can be used for on-boarding new systems administrators, or as part of a team training plan.

Note: The exam associated with this certification was retired on October 1, 2019. However, this track still retains value as a training resource.
