After completing this Cisco training you'll know how to forge the brave world of a multi-site VoIP deployment with CUCM. Because these worldwide deployments can be flat-out overwhelming, the course walks through the design from the ground up. You will learn to connect multiple sites using voice gateways and intercluster trunks, designing and implementing a globalized dial-plan, implementing call processing redundancy, device mobility
This training formerly applied to CCNP Voice certification, which was retired and replaced by CCNP Collaboration. They were both designed by Cisco to validate the intermediate skills expected of a collaboration engineer with 3 to 5 years of experience and prepares you for advancement to more senior collaboration positions.
For supervisors, this training can be used for on-boarding new network administrators, or as part of a team training plan.

- Cisco Unified Communications Manager: understanding the big picture design
- Implementing H.323 and MGCP gateway connections, SIP and intercluster trunk connections
- Multisite connections: implementing SIP and intercluster trunk connections
- Multisite QoS: addressing QoS concerns
- PSTN access, handling incoming and outgoing calls, access for multiple locations
- CUCM architecture: IP phone communication, call processing, redundancy, and licensing

Who Should Take CCNP Voice Training?
This training is considered professional-level Cisco training, which means it was designed for network administrators. This CCNP course is designed for network administrators with three to five years of experience with collaboration equipment.
New network administrators. The normal path for a Cisco engineer is to earn a CCNA and then get a few years of experience under their belt before tackling more advanced training and certifications. But if you completed an initial certification before you entered the workforce, you may feel ready to specialize in Cisco collaboration engineering. Even if you don’t go on to earn a certificate immediately afterward, this training is the best way to become an expert in voice and video collaboration.
Experienced collaboration engineers. If you’ve been working on networks for several years but have gradually found your job responsibilities drifting more toward handling collaboration equipment like video teleconferencing, VoIP infrastructure or multisite voice networking, you might want to start thinking of yourself as a collaboration engineer.
