How hard is the Cisco CCNP Service Provider exam?

The CCNP Service Provider exam (350-501 SPCOR) is a challenging test that covers five areas of expertise in delivering and maintaining service provider technologies: service provider architecture, advanced networking principles, MPLS and segment routing, VPN and multicast services, and automation and assurance. The 350-501 SPCOR exam itself is reportedly a 120-minute exam with 90-110 questions on it, the max score is typically 1000 points, and a passing score is 825.

What exam do you take to earn the CCNP Service Provider?

Earning the CCNP Service Provider requires passing at least two exams. The core, mandatory, exam for the CCNP Service Provider is "Implementing and Operating Cisco Service Provider Network Core Technologies" or SPCOR 350-501 (it covers familiarity with next-gen service provider IP network infrastructures). In addition to that, there are four concentration exams in specific areas of service provider network management – you choose which of those you want to take.
